Thanks to always-on Wi-Fi capabilities from Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, NTT Pro Cycling stays connected, regardless of the environment

Cycling races happen in places where Wi-Fi coverage can be either very strong or very poor. The most challenging areas include mountainous landscapes and places with heavy mobile traffic and potential network congestion. The NTT Pro Cycling team needs the digital tools they use to stay connected, anytime, anywhere.

Thanks to Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise technology, the team can access powerful inside and outside vehicle Wi-Fi coverage to allow live video streams, real-time analytics sharing among the team, media uploads and continuous connection across the team via apps and collaboration tools like Rainbow. For this, the team uses OmniAccess 5720 routers with antennas and OmniAccess 1201 Stellar Access Points, inside team cars.
